The FOMA™ D901i was the first Mitsubishi mobile phone based on Symbian OS, built exclusively for NTT DoCoMo’s 3G FOMA network in Japan.

The D901i offers surround 3D sound for vivid ringing melodies and realistic audio effects when playing i-appli™ games or using other applications.

The D901i has an integrated Super CCD Honeycomb camera™ with effective resolution of 2 megapixels and auto focus. The D901i can create videos at up to 30 frames/second and QVGA video can be recorded or played back with TV-broadcast quality. The multi-illumination light on the bottom of the handset changes its color and blinking pattern to indicate incoming mail and phone calls.
