The FOMA™ D800iDS is a 3G Symbian OS-based smartphone manufactured by Mitsubishi for NTT DoCoMo’s FOMA network in Japan.
The D800iDS is the world’s first handset with screens on both upper and lower halves, including versatile touch panel instead of keypad on lower half.
It offers three operational modes to suit different users based on universal design and text/drawing written by user on the touch panel can be sent as e-mail attachments.
The phone comes with a 2.2 inch QVGA TFT LCD screen for both main display and touch panel display.
