Symbian OS used in Music Porter II

Symbian announces 22nd phone for Japanese market

December 22, 2005 – Symbian Ltd. announced that Symbian OS™, the leading, open standards based operating system for advanced mobile phones, is used in the NTT DoCoMo Music Porter II, which was launched today. The Music Porter II is manufactured by Symbian OS licensee Mitsubishi Electric Corporation.　　

This increases the total number of Symbian OS-based mobile phones available in Japan to 22.  Symbian OS brings higher quality mobile phones with better features quickly to consumers, expanding the 3G cell phone market even further.

“Music Porter” is a trademark of NTT DoCoMo, Inc. in Japan
“FOMA” is a trademark or registered trademark of NTT DoCoMo, Inc. in Japan and other countries. 
NTT Docomo’s FOMA service is only available to subscribers in Japan
