LONDON & BELLEVUE, Wash.--Sept. 13, 2006--SNAPin Software(TM), the first company to deliver self-service software for mobile devices, has announced that it has joined the Symbian Platinum Program to support the growing market for phones based on Symbian OS(TM). As a Platinum Partner, SNAPin Software is extending its SelfService Product Suite to the Symbian ecosystem. The SNAPin SelfService product suite lets operators deliver their own branded self-service experience to their subscribers, delivering interactive promotions and context-sensitive training on every device, driving adoption of advanced services and generating incremental revenue. It supports all mobile devices and networks, giving operators an unprecedented ability to monitor and manage their subscribers' service experience.

Symbian smartphones are growing in popularity. During H1 2006, Symbian smartphone shipments grew more than 65% compared to H1 2005. According to John Jackson, Director, Wireless/Mobile Technologies, Yankee Group, by 2010, well over 200 million smartphones will be selling worldwide each year, representing 18% of annual global volumes.
