Nokia's first 3G phone based on Symbian OS
The Nokia 6630 – world’s smallest 3G megapixel phone
LONDON, United Kingdom – 14th June 2004 – Symbian today announced that the Nokia 6630 is the eighth 3G mobile phone based on Symbian OS. The 6630 is Nokia’s first 3G phone to use Symbian OS and is the world’s smallest 3G megapixel phone launched to date.
The Nokia 6630 features:
- 1.23 million effective pixel camera
- optimization for 3G (WCDMA), EDGE and 2G networks worldwide
- digital MP3 music player
- real-time video streaming
