Image Converter Library

The Image Converter Library (ICL) replaces the functionality of the Image Converter available prior to v7.0s. It provides features to enable the conversion and basic manipulation of images. Conversions can be made from images stored in files or descriptors to CFbsBitmap objects, or from CFbsBitmap and CFrameImageData objects to files or descriptors.

ICL supports standard plugin decoders and encoders that can decode and encode some of the most common image formats and sub-types. For more information, see ICL Client Side Architecture.

Bitmap Transform

Bitmap transform provides scaling and rotational functions for images stored in CFbsBitmap objects. For more information, see Bitmap Transform.

Onboard Camera

The Onboard Camera API is an open, extensible, generic API for controlling simple, on-board, digital camera devices. Either still, or video, images may be captured.
